Remember how you had that great idea to use Skype in the classroom? Then remember how you actually never did? Yeah, me too. The whole concept of using technology to bring real-world experts, experiences, and discussions into the classroom is (of course) in our students' best interest, but ain't nobody got time for that. Except we do, and we must. Come learn how I finally for reals this time implemented Skype into my classroom in the most simple, easy way possible to give my students their very favorite and most meaningful experience of the year.
