Have you ever wondered what those little black and white squares are that are popping up everywhere—on billboards, in catalogs, even on ketchup bottles! Quick Response or QR codes are ways to connect people with information easily. In this workshop, participants will learn to create classroom activities with QR Codes. Activities will include downloading a QR code reader to a mobile device and creating our own QR codes for the classroom. Explorations of QR Code Treasure Hunts, Plickers, Video Periodic Table with QR Codes, Interactive Labs, and Interactive Resumes, and self-checking activities will be our focus.
