Because there are mapping connections to most every content area, you are invited to come along and map your world! Participants will learn the basics of Google maps and Google Earth and how to use each of these apps effectively in the classroom. Interdisciplinary examples will include Google Literature Trips, the Smarty Pins game, Latitude and Longitude Scavenger Hunt, Earth Picker, Distance and Area in Math Class, Google Earth 3D Tours, and more.
