How do we know they are learning ASPEN? 3). How should we respond when they don’t learn? 4). How will respond if they already know ASPEN?

He's in my class. Now What?
Special Ed. law requires students to be educated in the Least Restrictive Environment. That means you may have a student with significant cognitive disabilities in your class. How can you help him/her have a meaningful and successful experience? Let's talk about accommodations and modifications for severely handicapped students in general education classes. This session is geared for gen. ed. teachers, but special ed. teachers are always welcome.

Bullyology Overview
We owe it to our students and parents to go beyond the hallway poster campaigns. When it comes to bullying prevention, there is so much more than “No Bully Zones” and “Walking Away to Tell an Adult.” Too much research exists to ignore the fact that in order to address bullying behavior in school settings, we need to 1). Create a centralized reporting systems, 2). Provide parent/community outreach, and 3). Teach coping and resiliency skills to students. Bullyology accomplishes all of the above. Come and learn about how to implement Bpllyology in your school/district today!
